Hey Everyone!
As you may or may not know, I have had a YouTube Channel for 2 months now. It launched on my birthday – August 19th – and started out strong.
When I first started it, the idea behind it was to make videos about different topics that I find interesting — education, fitness, etc. It was going great. I was dropping two videos a week, specifically focused on college tips. However, I soon learned that I don’t really like sitting in front of a camera for an extended period of time. So, I stopped doing those videos.
On the plus side though, I realized that I actually like vlogging instead. Why? Because it doesn’t require me to sit in front of a camera and talk. I get to record my experience without the forced face to face. Now though this sounds good, it has been brought to my attention that I don’t really get out much. I noticed that I have almost nothing to vlog because I don’t leave my house.
If you read my blog about not being able to find a job, you learned that I have been unemployed for almost 4 months and people without money cannot – or should not – go out. I have only vlogged about my birthday in Times Square and my girls trip to Turks and Caicos. My next trip was a cruise to the Bahamas at the end of this month but that has to get rescheduled for another time due to some unforeseen circumstances. Until then, I need to find some events in South Florida to attend so I can start vlogging.
Until next time,
